Read It: Matthew 13:8-9; 23
Live it: In the parable of the farmer; we see how the seed fell on different types of surfaces. Some surfaces did not allow the seed to grow. On other surfaces; the seed grew a little but was not able to grow to its full potential. This parable may seem very basic; but the reality is that it’s deeper than we think. In order for us to be fertile ground; we have to allow God to nurture us with his word. We have to connect with him in a deeper way; not just a surface-level relationship. We have to live out what his word teaches us.
When we read the word of God, it will challenge us. The big question is are we ready to make changes in our lives? It’s a leap of faith that we have to take in order to be that fertile ground. If we decide to (Listen) and do these things, the word clearly states that the Lord will bless us. The Lord wants to bless you; the question is are you ready to be that fertile ground?
