Read it: Acts 2:42
Live it:
Our reading today reminds us of the legacy of the Apostles. They were successful by biblical standards, and they achieved that success not by power and wealth but through their actions. They truly embodied “read it, live it” through their ministry, their worship, their evangelism, their fellowship, and their discipleship. Starting tomorrow, we will be studying each of these aspects of their legacy so we can recognize how we are having the same impact in our own lives.
I love our introduction to this month’s binge.
The early Christians made a powerful impact on the world. This October, our biblical scholars will help us explore how they did it, recognize the impact we are making today, and discover how to be more intentional in reflecting God’s glory through our relationships.
Are we having a similar impact? During this time, we encourage you to identify one or more of these areas (ministry, worship, evangelism, fellowship or discipleship) that God has enabled you to have an impact in. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, but it does have to be intentional. How can you be intentional in these areas?
Ps. James
