Day 13: Wisdom Tested

Read It: Ecclesiastes 7:23-29; 1 Kings 11:1-10; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 11:33-35

Live It:

Recently I heard a fellow Christian say this, “Coming to Christ has been the wisest financial decision that I have ever made.” I asked him why and he said, because coming to Christ has put all his financial priorities in order and showed him to truly trust Him with all his finances. His answer puzzled me, but it made so much sense.

In today’s scripture, Ecclesiastes 7:27-29, it describes a dilemma that Solomon faced. God’s ways are so perfect, but why do we reject them?

To pursue our own “downward path”. To pursue things that may lead us into nothing.

God’s ways are wisdom tested. He knows why He does what He does and says what He says.

I believe that today, while you read this devotional, that you see the invitation that God is proposing to you today. Come and see that His ways are perfect.

Romans 11:34-35 says “For who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back?”

You can trust Him with all of your needs. His ways are always perfect.
