Today, as I wait while Diana is having chemotherapy, I am enjoying breakfast at my favorite breakfast joint, McDonalds. Even more than I like eating breakfast, I love God’s Word. Every morning around 5 am, I spend time in the Word of God
Today’s verses express the Psalmist’s longing for God’s Word. He says he opens his mouth and pants with desire for the Word. He recognizes that the mercy of God comes to those who love God and his Word.
I encourage you to dig into God’s Word. While it may be difficult at first, as you develop the habit of being in His Word on a daily basis, you will find you will have a growing desire for and love toward God’s Word. Become a man or woman of the Word!
