Live It:
The longest recorded prayer of Jesus is John 17. The Last Supper is wrapping up. Jesus is getting ready to start his journey towards the cross, and the final prayer he has is for his disciples, both the disciples in that room and the disciples to come.
In his high priestly prayer, Jesus prays for one thing: the unity of his believers.
As you read through today’s prayer, allow it to be your prayer–the unity of all believers.
