God is looking for worshippers who will worship him in spirit and in truth. When he is talking about the spirit, he’s talking about the depths of our being and our flesh. God is calling us to worship him with everything that is within us. He wants us to worship him with our voices, our hands, and our feet.
He also wants us to worship him with truth. God wants genuine worship. A worship that is rooted in his word. Not just a topical worship. A worship that can only be produced when a person is walking in intimacy with God. When a person is rooted in God’s word. A person who actually walks in God’s truth. This is what the Father is looking for.
He is not looking for flashy, temporary, or perfect worship. He is looking for something deeper. So let us grow deeper in relationship with the Lord. Let us take him at his word. Let’s worship him with everything inside of us.
