Day 19: Leading like Christ
Read it: 1 Corinthians 11:1, Matthew 5:3-12

If I were to ask your co-workers, classmates, or extended family what kind of person you are, would they say “Christ-follower”? Maybe they’d say good person, kind person, or church-goer, but would they be able to see how you are striving to follow Christ every day? If you feel challenged by this statement, you’re in luck. Jesus gave us a list of character traits to work on to be more like him.
Take some time to read through Matthew 5:3-12. This passage is the sermon that Jesus gave us to encourage us to grow in our character. After reading it, ask God to guide you to the areas you may need to focus on. Keep growing to be more like Him because you are leading people around you everyday simply by the way you behave.
