Day 6 – The 10 Spies
Read It: Numbers 13:1-3, 13:17-33, 14:1-38

Sometimes we shoot ourselves in the foot, don’t we?! God gives us a dream so grand and extravagant that we think it couldn’t possibly be for us, especially when a few obstacles come our way. This is the tale of the 10 spies.
God had already promised them a beautiful land flowing with milk and honey– and they found the land just as He said. Instead of trusting that this land was their blessing, they became fearful of the obstacles that seemed to be in the way.
As you read this portion of scripture today, consider the hopes and dreams that God has placed in your heart. Maybe you don’t believe you deserve them, but if God has put them there you absolutely do! Maybe you feel like the obstacles are too big, but if God has given it to you already, who can stand in the way? Maybe you’ve been too scared to step into the fullness of what He has for you, but if God has given you the dream he will give you the strength with every step.
Learn from the 10 spies. Be like Joshua and Caleb. Believe that if God has placed it in your heart, all is not lost, but the miracles are just beginning to unfold!
