Read It: John 7
Live It:
Do you ever feel you are in a dry season? Are you so dried up that you have nothing to offer? Or do you feel like you are not producing any fruit? It may be time to take a drink of his living water! In John 7:37, Jesus stood up in the middle of the crowd and shouted, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink of living water!” When he said living water, he was speaking of the Spirit who would be given to anyone who believed in him. But the spirit had not yet been given because Jesus had not entered his glory.
But now, Jesus is in his glory, and we have the privilege of having the Spirit of the Lord with us! This is a promise that is for us today. So if you feel dry in your spiritual life, it may be time for you to connect with the Spirit of the Lord. Ask him to saturate your life with his presence, and he will. The water he provides will help you satisfy your thirst, deepen your roots, and help you produce fruit. That fruit will bless those around you.
So, do you want a drink? If so, he is waiting for you to come to him.
