Live it : Have you ever been asked if you want the good news or the bad news first? I always ask for the bad news, hoping that the good news will make me forget the bad.
Paul has spent the last few days giving us the bad news. He’s told us that the wrath of God is shown towards all those in humanity who reject God and His ways. It doesn’t matter if you are Jewish or non-Jewish. It doesn’t matter if you are religious or irreligious. If you reject God and His ways, you will be judged.
However, Paul now has some good news for us. The good news is that although the law cannot save us, Jesus can! We are not left without hope. Trusting Christ means that we’re putting our confidence in Him to forgive our sins.
Ask God to lead you as you go throughout your day. Ask Him to bring to mind the truth of the gospel as you encounter today. Tell Him yes and ask for the power and protection to live out the yes!
