Read It: Psalm 150; John 4:23-24
Live it:
There is a saying: we all worship something. Some worship money; some worship possessions; and others worship their jobs. We believers were created to worship our creator. Not just to simply worship him but to worship him in spirit and in truth. In John 4:23; Jesus tells the Samaritan woman that the Father is looking for worshipers who will worship him in spirit and in truth.
The Father is looking for those who will do more than sing him a song. Worship is not simply singing a worship song. It is a lifestyle. True worship comes from our daily actions. We worship him by being a reflection of him. We worship him by working our hardest at work, school, or at home. We worship him by loving and caring for our family and friends. We worship him with our actions. That is how we worship him with our flesh and spirit. However, it also says we must worship him in truth. Where is it that we can find the ultimate truth? The Bible.
The more we read our Bibles, the more we learn about who God is. The more we fill our hearts with his word, the deeper our worship will be. So let us move forward as worshipers who will worship in spirit and in truth.
