Read it: Romans 8:18-39
Live it: To fully grasp the hope we have in Jesus is sometimes easier said than done. We battle against things we don’t understand, and we see the toll those things have on our mind, body, and soul. We grow weary and tired. Despite all that, there’s still something inside of us that reminds us of the hope which tells us God is in control, and that He never leaves us nor forsakes us. The Holy Spirit reminds us and enables us to wait patiently for that promise.
Today’s reading reminds us to keep up the good fight!
In verse 35, Paul reminds and encourages us. “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”
Let’s take hold of that promise, and don’t let go, for in due time, we will see God’s glory!
