Over the next couple of days, we are going to walk through something I call the Generosity Ladder. This is a step-by-step guide leading each of us up the rung that God has for us.
Today, we are taking the first step: being a Potential Giver.
We live in the most financially successful nation that has ever existed. We are blessed beyond blessed to be born in this country, in this time in human history. This blessing has given each of us the ability to live well. No matter what comparisons you make with your neighbors, or your coworkers, or the celebrities you see on social media, you are living well.
This means that each of us has the ability to give. You have the ability to give. This realization helps us understand that every single one of us is a potential giver.
The real question is not if you have the ability; the real question is what you will do with your ability.
