The final rung on the Generosity Ladder is the Legacy rung. Each rung is such an incredible lesson to learn.
When it comes to the idea of generosity, one of the statements that we say all of the time at Focus Church is “We don’t want something from you; we want something for you.”
So many people in the world will say the church just wants your money. I can unequivocally say that is not true. We don’t talk about generosity to get something from you. We talk about generosity, and we teach about generosity because we care about who you are and who you are becoming.
Are you a selfish person? Are you becoming more selfish as the years roll on?
Or are you becoming more like Christ every day, every month, and every year?
What kind of legacy are you leaving behind?
My hope is that my entire life is filled with the way God designed me to live. That includes my finances. My hope is that my financial legacy will prove that my God is the number 1 priority in my life.
Generosity has been one of the greatest lessons that God has taught me. My hope is that you can learn it as much as I have.
Wherever you find yourself on the Generosity Ladder, my hope is that you will take the next step today.
