Read it: Psalm 1:1-3, Psalm 119: 89-93
Live it:
Today concludes this powerful exercise. Over the last 21 days we have taken time to be thankful for the blessings of God. But it wasn’t an exercise for us to just think about those blessings and simply move on; it was to cause us to pause and think about how we would feel if those blessings were taken away and then restored once again.
In all honesty, this is the first time I have gone through this exercise, but it won’t be my last. To take a moment and be thankful is easy for so many, but to meditate on those blessings, truly taking time to meditate on them, helps us realize how valuable the blessings of God truly are.
I hope, and I challenge you, to not allow this to be the last time you go through an exercise like this, one that challenges you to be truly thankful for the blessings of God and to meditate on Him, both day and night.
Do it:
Conclusion of the Bible plan, but not the conclusion of spiritual discipline of meditation on God.
