Read it- 1 Kings 3
Live it- In today’s reading, Solomon dreamt that he was in conversation with God. In this conversation, God asked Solomon what he wanted. Solomon’s response was wisdom. God promised him what he asked for (wisdom) as well as riches and fame. When Solomon awakened and realized this conversation was a dream, he went back to Jerusalem and made sacrifices before the Ark of the Covenant.
Sometime later Solomon’s wisdom was challenged by two women who brought a baby that was the subject of a dispute between the women. Solomon proposed slicing the baby in half and giving each woman half. This quickly revealed who the real mother was.
If you want real victory in your life, ask God for those things that please him, and He will respond with that and more.
