Day 10- Feel Different: How do I choose hope?

Read it: Romans 15:13 & Hebrews 10:23 & Jeremiah 29:11 & Psalm 119:114

Live it:

Have you ever felt hopeless, or that a situation had no hope? Many people feel this way. In fact around 60% of Americans have felt this way. However, we do not want to live like everyone else. We are called to LIVE DIFFERENT. Our scripture today talks a lot about hope and where it comes from. Our hope is not found in politics, or the news. It is not based on the economy or anything else in this world. Our hope comes from Christ, and because of that, we can be different. Our hope is not easily taken away, and the more you read these scriptures about hope, the harder it is to lose.

However, to truly live differently we must be ready to share hope with others. 1 Peter 3:15 says “Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” We shouldn’t just have hope;  we should be ready to explain it to ANYONE who asks.

Today, pray that your hope overflows to the world around you so much that someone might ask where your hope comes from. Pray you have the strength and courage to share hope with them.
