Live it: God has called us to be generous people. People who freely give. For our father is the author of generosity. He showed his generosity by giving his son Jesus as a payment for our freedom from our sins. A price that you and I could never pay. No matter how much we try. God knew we could never repay him, yet he gave Jesus as a sacrifice for us.
We as believers must be generous-hearted like our Father. We must be generous with our love, service, money, and much more. Remember the Lord himself will pay you back for what you give. So when you see a situation where you can help with your generosity, do it. Because it is like giving to the Lord, and the Lord will bless you.
