Pastor Jenni talked about honoring those individuals who poured out so much into us on Day 4. The scripture is filled with reminders that we should follow the example of those who poured so much to us.
2 Timothy 3:14 NLT says,
“But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you.”
Honoring those who are no longer with us is following the example that they set before us. But we all know that takes work! It takes making a conscious decision to remember their examples and follow them. It takes doing what is unpopular. It takes surrounding ourselves with people who believe in us.

Think about the spiritual leaders or mentors who you are grateful for. Review the list that you wrote down on Day 4. Now, visualize those relationships being taken away from you. How would you process that? What support would you need? What would you need to do about it?
