I live in Pinal County. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has a celebrity cop in its traffic unit. His name is Frank. Nearly every Friday the department posts a video of Frank making traffic stops. It is called “Friday with Frank.” There is a Facebook page called “Find Frank.” The purpose of that Facebook page is for people to post their picture with Frank or to post a picture they have taken of him making a traffic stop. It is cool to be in the presence of a celebrity.
Today’s short reading is a list of celebrities and powerful people whom God placed around David to make him successful. The opening line of our reading today is “David reigned over all Israel, doing what was just and right for all his people.” We need people around us to help us attain success.
Who has God placed in your life to help you be successful? List them. Give thanks for them.
