Day 19: Guidance

If there is one thing that is true about me, and most likely true about you. I want what I want, and I want it when I want it. Unfortunately, I have learned that most of the time, my own thoughts and desires are not in my best interest. I have gone down the wrong road, at the wrong time, far too often.
Those detours of life have taught me a very important lesson. Trust God! Trust God far more than I trust my own desires. Trust God far more than my own ideas. Trust God far more than my own way of living.
Trusting others, even God, is not easy. But there is an easy step to trusting someone other than yourself, building a close relationship with them. Grow closer to God. The closer I grow in my relationship to God, the more I trust him. He has proven himself over and over again.
Be encouraged to grow closer to God, trust him, every single day.
