Day 19: Running your Race: Don’t grow weary

Read It: Galatians 6:9
Live it:
My husband; Tim; and I have had the privilege of hosting a weekly Bible study group in our home for almost twenty years. We truly believe God has called us to lead this ministry; and it is a genuine blessing. After all this time; setting up our meetings is practically automatic and comes together quickly.
However; I recall a particular evening when I was extremely tired and struggling just to prepare for the meeting. I had completely lost momentum and was seriously considering canceling; but I decided to push through. That night; one of the group members arrived with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and handed them to me. She said she thought of me when she saw them and knew she needed to buy them for me. The weariness vanished; and I felt my momentum to carry on returning. I was renewed and refreshed.
I knew in that moment that God recognized my exhaustion and was encouraging me to persevere. The flowers were a message from Him; he simply used my friend as his hands and feet to deliver them.
What answer are you tired of waiting for from God?
Keep praying and seeking God. He promises us in Matthew 7:7-8; “Keep on asking; and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking; and you will find. Keep on knocking; and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks; receives. Everyone who seeks; finds. And to everyone who knocks; the door will be opened.”
We are promised a harvest of blessings if we don’t give up.
