Read it: Genesis 14:17-20
Live it: Challenge – Are you giving God your first 10% or giving from your overflow? If you’re not giving your first, are you really trusting Him to provide, or are you trusting yourself? In this scripture, we see that when Abram returns with a blessing of goods, the very first thing he does is give a tenth. He has learned that when we trust God with our first and our best, He will always take care of the rest.
As you read this scripture today, consider your giving habits and whether they truly align with God’s principles. Seek your heart and make changes as the Holy Spirit guides you. I promise, you can never outgive God!
