One of the greatest, and least realized, identities that God gives us is being a WARRIOR. And not just any type of warrior, a mighty victorious warrior.
It’s no wonder we don’t think of ourselves as warriors. We live in a comfortable world. And as the quote from G. Michael Hopf says, “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
We have had so many good times that well-meaning Christians don’t realize how weak they have become. We worry. We fret. We think the world is out to get us. We think the devil is going to beat us down.
Instead, begin to understand that, through Jesus Christ, you are already a strong, mighty, victorious warrior.
Revelation 12:11 NLT
And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.
Forget the worries. Push past the fret. Feel the wolf rise in your spirit. Face every day with your held high. Fight this good fight. Know that you are a warrior. Walk in the victory that Jesus Christ has given us.
