The early stages of the early church was an interesting time. The apostles were figuring out how to structure the church. It was a learning process since there was no guide book on how to run the church. Although there were a lot of things that needed to be done, they made sure that the gospel of Jesus Christ was the center of it all.
They made sure that they continued to preach the good news and reach as many people as they could. They took the great commission and executed the plan to the best of their ability. They spread the gospel as far and wide as they could. In the verses we read today, we see how sometimes spreading the gospel was not an easy thing. But it’s what God called us to do. So, like the apostles, let’s continue to spread the gospel in the church, full of courage and full of faith. For there are people out there who need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ!
