Read it: Matthew 16:18, 1 Peter 2:5, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Live it:
“Don’t you realize?”
What a powerful statement. It’s even more powerful when it is said multiple times.
Realizing that our bodies–our church– is the temple of God, a dwelling place for our Lord and Savior to be with us. We could say it this way: “We are the Home of Christ.”
When I think about my own home, I think about a place that is comfortable. I’m comfortable to be myself, where I can let my hair down and kick my feet up.
I think about a place full of the people closest to me–the people who know me more than anyone else on the planet.
So ask yourself this question: Would you be comfortable to act, speak, and think if you knew Jesus was with you? Would Jesus be one of the people whom you would consider to be closest to you?
Don’t you realize that Jesus is with you at all times? Live your life with the knowledge that “We are the Home of Christ.”
